Privacy Notice

Under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). Last updated: 9 October 2026.

1. Data controller

Your personal data is processed by Akart Yazılım ve Ticaret A.Ş. as data controller (email: [email protected]), as described below.

2. What data is processed?

This site does not ask you to sign up. There are only two forms:

  • Question form under lessons: your name, email address and question. Your question and name may be published with the answer; your email address is never published and is kept only to reply to you if needed.
  • Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
  • Security: when a form is sent, a one-way hash of your IP address (the raw IP is not stored) and server access logs.

3. Purpose and legal basis (KVKK Art. 5)

  • Answering and publishing your question: your explicit consent (given by sending the form).
  • Sending the newsletter: your explicit consent. After signing up you confirm again with a link sent to your email (double opt-in); without it no newsletter is sent. You can leave at any time with the link at the bottom of every newsletter email.
  • Preventing abuse (automated sending, attacks): legitimate interest.

4. How data is collected

Only through the forms on this site, and only what you write. Reading pages use no cookies and have no ads or tracking codes; the page itself, fonts included, loads from our own server. Total visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not store IP addresses.

5. Who receives it?

To provide the service, your data may be shared with our hosting and backup providers, and with public authorities where the law requires. It is never given or sold to anyone for marketing.

6. Transfers abroad (KVKK Art. 9)

Part of our backup and content delivery infrastructure runs on Cloudflare (EU/US). Newsletter emails are sent through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France/EU); only your email address and the newsletter itself are passed to this service. These transfers are made with appropriate safeguards under KVKK Art. 9.

7. How long it is kept

Newsletter sign-up: until you leave. Lesson question: as long as it stays published. IP hash and access logs: at most 12 months. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights (KVKK Art. 11)

You have the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request information, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, to object, and to claim compensation if you suffer damage.

9. How to apply

Write to [email protected]. Your request will be answered within 30 days at the latest. The same address is enough to ask for your question or newsletter sign-up to be deleted.
