About İşveren Okulu
A free school for employers in Turkey: accounting basics and Turkish regulations, step by step.
İşveren Okulu ("the Employer's School") teaches the accounting and legal basics of running a business in Turkey: documents and invoices, tax, social security (SGK), setting up a company and hiring. Lessons are short, start with a story and end with a quiz and one task for the week.
How we prepare lessons
Lessons are written in Turkish first and checked against official sources (Official Gazette, Revenue Administration, SGK). Every lesson lists its sources. Turkish rules change often; we scan for changes every week and update lessons, and each change is noted on the lesson. English versions are translations of the Turkish lessons.
Our writing and checking is supported by AI. The lessons have not yet been reviewed by a licensed accountant; this is stated on every lesson.
